Daily Schedule/Activity Board for Toddlers
When my toddler was about a year and a half, I was searching for a way to help her communicate with me since she was still working on language.  I saw pins about creating a schedule with pictures to help children know what the day had in store.  I decided to make my own and have been so happy with the results!

Here's how I made it:

I took a regular picture frame, removed the glass and mounted felt to the backing.  The I selected the activities we do throughout the week and laminated them.  Using velcro, I attached them to the frame.  We also use this board for felt board activities!

I really do love this board!  My little one is able to go to the board to tell me what she wants to do.  Now that she is older, she still uses the board but is able to say what she wants to do instead of just showing me the picture.  I believe this has really helped with showing her what we have planned for the day and in helping her make choices.  I leave blanks on the schedule so she can pick what she wants to do.  The yellow squares are the activities that we do on a regular basis (breakfast, nap, lunch, bath, etc.).  I must admit we do not get around to using this schedule on a daily basis, because life happens, but it is a great resource to have!
