Bucket Seats
SUPER easy to make...thanks Pinterest!
- Bought the blue buckets from Lowes...I also bought blue spray paint to cover the logo.
- My husband measured the wood by tracing a bucket top for the seat and the inside of the bucket for the lip that holds the seat in place.
- He cut and sanded the wood.
- I bought 2" foam from JoAnn's and adhered it to the wood using spray glue.
- I found cute outdoor canvas material on clearance at JoAnn's, covered the seat and attached with a staple gun.
- My husband attached the inner circle to the upholstered seat.
The kids LOVE them!
Revamped Bookcase
My bookcases were getting a little beat up, but I really didn't want to buy new ones. So instead I bought white contact paper, covered the bookcase and edged it with Duck Tape!
Canvas Sayings
I bought different sized canvases at Michael's when they were 50% off. I painted them with acrylic paint and printed off quotes. I like finding unique fonts (like 1,000 Free Fonts) to add some character. I punched out some circles to go along with my polka dot theme. Then I attached the sayings to the canvas using Modge Podge.
